Day 15

Today I came across a pair of rain boots at a Hallmark store of all places, and I fell in love with them. At $45 a pair, I couldn't talk myself into them. It took a lot of self control.

Day 14

I have a picture to post early this morning. The flowers are out in full bloom right now. All of the rain is really helping!

DAY12 & 13

Well it seems I did it again. I went two days with out a post. So here's two photos that I have taken.

Day 11

Someone needs a haircut! I was thinking of letting Kenny's hair grow out just a little while longer before taking him to cut it, but after seeing this picture of him....well, I think it's time!

DAY 10

I suck at posting these pictures! I DO take pictures everyday, but posting them seems to be a difficult task for me to remember to do at the end of the day. I will try harder.

Here is Day 10.

This is a picture of a HUGE truck that pulled up next to me in a parking lot. I had to take a snap shot of it because a little old man and little old lady got out of it. It was hilarious!

I also like the reflection from the CLEAN truck!

DAY 8 & 9 Photos

Okay, I finally managed to get the photos uploaded. Hope that doenst happen again!

Day 8- WIll have to wait!

I am having trouble downloading photos to my computer so yesterday never got posted. I tried again the morning and it looks like day 9 wont be successful either. I will keep trying!!!

ONE WEEK!!

Wow! It's been a week since I started this adventure of a photo a day for the next 365 days! I thought it would be much easier, but I was wrong. It is a challenge to remember to take a picture, but mostly to remember to post it! I'm not giving up though and I hope to really understand using my Nikon D5000 and produce better pictures. Right now I am just trying to figure out how to take a picture with the darn thing. I guess I could look at the manual.

DAY 7

I couldn't help but take a picture of my little guy standing in his pack n play...half naked! Apparently he wanted a new diaper. Too funny!

DAY 6

Today is Day 6 of the 365 days of snapshots and I must say, it isn't easy! I went grocery shopping and saw this cart and with a 16 month old, I see it in my future. And I am not excited about it!!

DAY 5

My dad grilling....in the rain! We were hungry for grilled BBQ Chicken!!! MMMMMM!

DAY 4

OOPPPSSS!! I admit it, the time is 12:52am, so I am 52 minutes late for day 4. I had a picture to post, but got side tracked sewing an apron. The sky behind our house always looks so pretty when a storm is about to blow threw our area of town. I caught this pretty sunset just hours before we were hammered with a rain.

DAY 3

My Little Helper! Kenny decided to help grandma with laundry. It was so cute, I had to grab my camera!

DAY 2

Kenny went grocery shopping with me. He was a bit fussy and wanted to be held, so I decided to take a chance and sit him in this huge shopping cart where he can pretend to drive and best of all...face forward! He really is still to small for it but the cart does have a belt to strap him in, so it worked out great! He loved it. That's all that matters!

If you look close you will see he has his feet crossed....too cute!!

DAY 1

Today is the first day of my 365 day photo journey and I am cheating. I am using a picture I took last night with my iphone. I think it's the best picture to start this post. After all, it's my birthday. So I can do what I want!

Kenny took me to Perry's Italian Grill last night for my birthday. We always love going here and they have the best deserts! I had to take a picture of the Nutty D'Angelo, because the presentation was so nice.

Why 365?

I have been following an old friend on Facebook as she journals her year through photos. She takes a picture each day and then post it for everyone to see. There are several 365 Photo Challenges through out the photography industry, for all levels of photography. I decided to try this challenge and chronicle it for a year. For the next 365 day I will post a photo to this site, mostly from my new Nikon D5000 camera. I have heard this is not an easy task, so wish me luck! Day one will be tomorrow...on my 36th Birthday!
